Who this class is designed for:
The teacher will give you the materials before class. Most likely, you will have a short story, an excerpt from a novel, or a poem to read. To complement this, there may also be an analytical essay on the topic. Preparation time should take from 15 to 30 minutes.
The teacher may also give you a few questions to consider for the upcoming class, which will be discussed.
Student talk time
Classes are conducted in the form of discussion. Students speak about 70% of the class time. The teacher will guide the discussion through questions, and by analysing the literature. The teacher will explain important concepts, nuances of meanings, context and words or idioms throughout the lesson.
