課程簡介

In this course, the teacher selects an article from international news and assigns it as reading homework. In the class the students discuss the article and learn new vocabulary words associated with the topic. 

What you'll learn

This is a great way to learn about culture and news topics from other countries. 

About the teacher

The teacher has been to 65 countries and spends hours every day reading news from around the world. With 15 years of teaching English to Taiwanese students, he knows what topics really interest his students.

進行方式

The students will have time to prepare before the class by reading the article and using the dictionary to translate any unfamiliar vocabulary words. The teacher will give a list of discussion questions for the students to prepare for in advance.

During the class, we will read the article together to practice our pronunciation, then we will review new vocabulary words, and finally discuss the article.

What a excellent experience of English learning. Jon is the first one teach who corrected my grammar when I introduced myself. And he gives me some many phrase verbs and how to use them in the native way. Highly highly recommended
