Deborah 來自加拿大，擁有 University of Houston-Victoria MBA學位、 University of Hong Kong 英語學士學位。她在 Sales and Marketing 領域累計超過 15 年的實務經驗，之前任職於美國 Newegg US 時帶領一支年輕的台灣專業團隊，她十分瞭解他們在商業英語方面所面臨的障礙。Deborah 目前居住台灣，兼職從事教學工作，希望能將多年累計的產業經驗分享給學員。她擁有專業教學證照 TEFL Level 5 advanced diploma。最喜歡的電影是《刺激1995》。

Do you have an inquisitive mind?
Have you ever wondered why we do what we do or why things happen the way they do? If so, we invite you to join the “Big Think- Conversation Class". In this 4-week course, you are introduced to bold ideas to explore new ways to work, live, and understand our ever-changing world. You are introduced to topics that challenge common sense assumptions and to think in new ways.
This course is suitable for those who would like to elevate their critical thinking and be able to discuss their views.
Example Topics :
- Are we born wired to follow the crowd (herd mentality)?
- How Apple and Nike have branded your brain?
- Will true AI turn against us?
- Are we alone in the universe?
- Free Will- are we really in control?
- Psychopaths or Corporate Geniuses?
Each week, students will prepare for class by reading an assigned article. During class, we will practice reading the article, cover any new vocabulary and phrases and discuss the ideas within the article. The teacher will provide feedback on pronunciation and grammar where needed.
