Teacher Paul is very knowledgeable and knows a lot about international political and economic issues. His understanding of Taiwan's international political situation may be better than that of the general public. Haha. I have been "non-stop" participating in Paul’s The Economist for more than half a year and I have benefited a lot. Since it is a discussion class, reading the selected article(s) in advance is required.

Reading The Economist also widens your views, but students are supposed to read study materials beforehand so as to participate in the class. This class is best suited for ones who would like to be familiar with International relations!

Paul的帶法比較像是大學討論課的授課方式，並不會注重於解釋文章或文法，學生對於課堂上要閱讀的文章必須先有充足的認識，才比較能激起討論的火花，對被動接收資訊的學生可能會較為吃力。不過Paul的博學多聞完全能滿足喜歡深度討論議題/吸收世界新知的人，是個很棒的老師，絕對受益良多！！！ ，
