Reading skills like skimming, summarizing, mind maps, etc. are great, but they won't help you with this. In this course, I'm going to go through various reading passages to show you how to look for the detail and understand faster and better. I'll use passages from fiction and non-fiction sources, like novels, news articles, and even poetry. Once we've learned these skills, we'll focus on how we can apply them to almost anything to develop our critical thinking skills.

This course will focus heavily on reading skills, pronunciation, and your analysis of the text. I will focus on all of these and less on general speaking notes. I will however point out any mistakes whenever time allows.
