We will cover News, culture, and current affairs via podcast and text article.

The Spectator is the best-written and most influential weekly in the English language. The writers only allegiance is to clarity of thought, elegance of expression and independence of opinion.

Each week, prior to class, I will share a short podcast where three of the best articles from that weeks magazine are read aloud by the authors themselves. I will share the corresponding text of one of the articles.

We will focus on this article in class. I will also send some questions for you to think about before class.

The class discussion will tie in other news events and our own perspectives and life experiences.

We can discuss the article in a relaxed atmosphere.

You can choose to either:
1. Listen to the article,
2. Read the article, or
3. Listen and read the article prior to class.
Choose the format that works best for you!
